A silly 2D adventure about a student-turned-dog.

DOG: Become Human is a silly and slightly chaotic 2D story game about a student who accidentally gets turned into a dog. While the principal tries to reverse the spell, the dog wanders around the school helping other students with their strange little problems. The tone is playful and a bit absurd, and I wanted the art style to feel like a cartoon that never takes itself too seriously.

What I Did
I created the overall visual direction for the game and made sure everything matched the same bold, cartoony style. I illustrated all backgrounds for the different rooms in the school and designed a custom hand-drawn font that gives the dialogue and UI a fun, handmade look. I also created all UI elements and kept them simple, clear and consistent with the rest of the art.

What I Loved About This Project
Designing the custom font was the most interesting part of the project. It was more challenging than I expected, but also really fun to experiment with. Creating a consistent visual style for an entire game was something I had not done before, and it taught me a lot about keeping shapes, colors and proportions aligned across many different screens.
