During my time at Toys & Garden, I worked as the primary in-house visual designer alongside the company’s lead designer. I created a wide range of commercial materials; from Amazon A+ content and photo editing to website banners, magazine layouts and sustainable branding. Below is a curated selection of the work I produced.
Amazon A+ Content
I developed A+ modules for multiple brands, including AXI, Backyard Discovery, and Gaggle. This involved creating visual storytelling layouts that highlight product features, unique selling points, and lifestyle imagery.
I designed both desktop and mobile versions, adapting layouts to Amazon’s requirements and brand expectations. My work contributed directly to stronger product performance — for example, the French Gaggle listings saw noticeable sales growth after the A+ went live
What I did
Created full A+ layouts from scratch
Developed visual structure, icons, measurements, and USP blocks
Wrote supporting copy for multiple languages (NL/EN/FR/DE)
Ensured consistency across brands with very different tones
Product Photo Editing
A major part of my role was improving and standardizing product imagery. Throughout my time at Toys and Garden I edited hundreds of photos, ranging from outdoor loungers to garden furniture, playhouses, and parasols.
Recoloring roof tiles and slides across 25–30+ photos per product
Removing clutter, dirt, harsh shadows, and reflections
Enhancing lighting, grass, sky, and overall appeal
Creating “missing variants” by recoloring and adjusting supplier photos
Preparing all photos for webshops with correct sizes and naming conventions
Magazine Layout Design
I designed a full AXI Outdoor Living product magazine, intended for B2B use. This project required me to develop a visual identity from scratch — layout, typography, color palette, and structure — since no previous magazine existed for this brand.
