Ah! Plastic Attack! is a small 2D educational game my team created for a research project about microplastics. The goal was to make the topic approachable for students who don’t usually play games, and to show how everyday habits can influence plastic waste in the environment.
I worked as the main artist and visual designer, shaping the overall look and feel of the game.
What I Did
I developed the art style for the entire project, designed the environments, and created UI elements that help communicate the game’s message clearly without relying on heavy text. I also contributed to early research, particularly on how characters could be visually interpreted, though I didn’t create the final character art.

What I Loved About This Project
This project was a fun opportunity to translate a real-world issue into something friendly and digestible. I enjoyed shaping a visual style that feels playful without losing the educational message behind it. Seeing the game come together with such a clear, positive tone made it a memorable early project for me.
